We shipped to production 34 times between 17 and 23 September. Here is what changed for your team.
A profile page for every resident
Every resident and applicant now has a profile page with their contact details, building and unit, custom fields grouped into sections, their tasks and their tenancies. Click a person's name in any task, or choose View profile, to open it.
Unit pages also have a new Tenancy tab listing everyone who lives there, with main or co-tenant, dates, current and market rent, arrears and the system each record came from.
Campaigns that chase rent
If you collect rent through Vinny, campaign rules can now target residents by rent status, due date, amount, payment method and overdue rent. Message residents with no Direct Debit, a failed payment or arrears, with placeholders for the rent amount, due date, amount owed and Direct Debit setup link. Set a campaign to re-enrol residents after a waiting period and it runs every month.
Two more campaign options: target residents by unit type, such as studio or penthouse, and greet them by first name with a new placeholder. More on campaigns.
A cleaner calendar
Complete, reschedule, cancel or mark a viewing as a no-show from a side panel without leaving the calendar. Date controls sit in the toolbar, month view scrolls, and on mobile you swipe to change the period.
Filter by what happened at the viewing
Filter People and Tasks by viewing outcome: completed, rescheduled, no-show or cancelled. Save the filter with your list, and a campaign created from a filtered People list goes to exactly the people in it.
Knowledge suggestions you check first
When you apply a knowledge suggestion, it opens in the editor so you can check it before it saves. Building-level sections show your organisation-wide answer alongside, so you only write what is different for that building.
Maintenance that works without signal
Site team members can tap Start and Stop on a work order visit with no signal. Vinny records the time of each tap and syncs it when the connection returns.
A Yardi work order with no unit no longer stalls: pick the unit once on the work order and Vinny sends it to Yardi again. More on maintenance.
Also new
The Integrations page is a searchable table, with a side panel to connect, configure or disconnect each integration.
Choose how many days ahead your website's booking form shows viewing times, from 1 to 30.
Name the document residents sign through DocuSign, such as "reservation form", and Vinny uses that name in its messages.
